I have been caught up in photography since my first camera purchase over 40 years ago. International travel has been my passion for about the passed two decades prior to that I was a studio owner, photo entrepreneur, hustler of the image. During that time I worked for Dolby Sound Lab, and Allis-Charlmers. The former was table top photography the latter was large layout design and photography. Though hard work, these were a big kick!

I have been doing photo-travel since the late 1980’s. During that time I have lived in France, mostly Paris and the South of France (Provence region).

My travels in France has taken me to the village where Nicéphore Niépce lived, introduced me to some of the names in photography, and shown me the beauty of the French countryside.

I have a Contax RTS III and a collection of Zeiss lenses. I also use a Nikon D200, Leica R9-R6 and the Leica lenses.

In the 1990’s I printed continuous tone for several print companies in San Francisco.

I continue to be engaged by the photographic image, my own and other peoples view of the world.
